X-Ray

X-Ray gives you and the Chiropractor the ability to clearly see the alignment and structure of your spine

Why Do You Need an X-Ray?

To fully evaluate the quality and condition of your skeletal health, X-ray imaging may be used as part of your chiropractic assessment.

By examining the spine and joints through X-ray, your chiropractor can gather valuable information about alignment, joint integrity, and structural changes. This insight helps guide a more accurate and personalized treatment plan.

"To See Is to Know. To NOT See Is to Guess."

Digital X-Ray in Phoenix AZ

When it comes to your health, we don’t rely on guesswork. Our clinic uses advanced digital X-ray technology to capture clear, precise images of your spine.

What matters most is not just the image quality, but how those images are carefully analyzed. We evaluate every X-ray using two distinct criteria to guide accurate and effective care.

Full Spine Analysis

The pelvis is carefully marked and measured down to the millimeter to evaluate symmetry and alignment, allowing us to determine the most effective way to correct identified subluxations.

The spine is viewed as one continuous structure rather than separate sections. This approach helps us understand how different areas influence one another, enabling us to correct the root cause of the problem more effectively.

Chiropractic BioPhysics Structural Analysis

The spine is compared to an ideal spinal model, which includes three natural curves when viewed from the side and a straight alignment from the front. These curves, along with overall spinal balance and posture, are carefully measured.

Additional X-ray views may be used to identify ligament damage or instability in the neck and lower back, helping document the extent of injury. With this information, we develop a targeted spinal rehabilitation program to stabilize and correct problem areas.

Before & After

Patient Example #1

This patient’s care focused on correcting the lower back (lumbar spine), even though she did not initially seek treatment for low back pain. Many spinal misalignments do not cause immediate symptoms.

The X-ray on the right shows a noticeable improvement in the low back curve following correction.

Patient Example #2

This side-view X-ray highlights the lower back. In the image on the left, the green line represents the normal lumbar curve, while the red line shows the patient’s misalignment.

The image on the right is a follow-up X-ray taken just three months into care, showing measurable improvement.

Patient Example #3

After years of sports-related activity and repeated physical stress, this patient was unaware of how far his head had shifted to the left, as shown by the comparison of the red and green lines.

Postural distortions like this place added stress on the spinal cord and nerves and are often overlooked in standard chiropractic and medical evaluations.

Patient Example #4

This patient lost his natural neck (cervical) curve after a pole-vaulting injury years earlier. He later developed numbness in his left arm and was diagnosed with two cervical disc herniations, with surgery recommended.

Within two weeks of care, his symptoms resolved. A follow-up X-ray three months later showed significant improvement in his cervical curve.
